About Your Therapist
Heather Harris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and a Nationally Certified Counselor who is passionate about helping people discover and live the best possible version of themselves in the midst of life's challenges.
Heather's greatest strength in therapy is flexibility. She can help you navigate your way to wellness by teaching you to cope with and manage emotions, symptoms and challenging relationships through a variety of counseling techniques. Her approach is person centered, with use of CBT, DBT, MBCT, and other approaches as necessary. More than anything, she desires to walk alongside you, helping you find hope and live free.
Heather earned a Master of Science in Community Counseling (CACREP accredited) from Eastern Illinois University in December 2001. She has over 15 years of experience working with a broad range of clinical needs including mood, anxiety and personality disorders, and has served Hendricks County and surrounding areas for more than a decade.
Heather is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association for Christian Counselors. Heather holds specialized training through Perinatal Support International and a Certificate in Integrative Mental Health.
